Parc Lane Cars Ltd has today, Wednesday, 23rd February, been confirmed as the official sponsor for the return of television coverage of the Legends Cars National Championship with MRF Tyres during the 2022 season – with the full 15-round campaign set to receive superb exposure on TV and online.

The company, which is based in Gosforth near Newcastle-upon-Tyne, will sponsor 15 one-hour broadcasts which will carry the very best race action from the 5/8 scale pocket rockets across the entirety of the 45-race season.

Bringing the Legends Cars National Championship to race fans across the UK and worldwide, and providing greater sponsorship opportunities for drivers and teams, the various platforms where the action will be screened and streamed will be confirmed in due course.

Experienced motorsport broadcast and production company Digitex Television returns to partner with the championship in 2022, filming all of the action throughout the coming season. Notably too, legendary commentator Richard John Neil will be the ‘voice of Legends Cars’ once more.

Parc Lane Cars is a family-run used car business with more than 50 years of combined experience in the motor industry. Owned by brothers Mark and Kieran Beaty, who both compete in Legends Cars, the business stocks over 130 hand-selected used vehicles to suit any budget.

Taking great pride in customer satisfaction and personal attention to detail, the experienced team at Parc Lane Cars is always available to help, give impartial advice and guide customers through each stage of purchasing, or perhaps selling, a vehicle.

From first contact to dealing with part exchange, finance application, finance settlement, collection options or personalised registration transfers, the team at Parc Lane Cars endeavours to offer the highest level of care. Additionally, with onsite workshops the business provides vehicle diagnostics, servicing, MOT and body repairs all under one roof.

On behalf of Parc Lane Cars Ltd, director Mark Beaty commented “We are so excited to be the Legends Cars National Championship television sponsor for 2022. We felt there was a missed opportunity to have, what we believe to be, the best racing series in the UK aired on TV and were more than happy to jump in and help support this and make it happen.”

Starting off at Oulton Park in Cheshire, the 2022 season will also visit Brands Hatch in Kent – on no fewer than three occasions – Pembrey and Anglesey in Wales, Donington Park in Leicestershire and Snetterton in Norfolk.

Running alongside the behemoths of the British Truck Racing Championship at five events, the Legends Cars will also once again play a key role on the eclectic race schedule at June’s massively popular American Speedfest at Brands Hatch.

“We are absolutely delighted to bring fantastic television coverage back for the Legends Cars National Championship this season and, on behalf of everyone associated with the category, I’d like to express our gratitude to Mark and Kieran Beaty of Parc Lane Cars Ltd for enabling this to happen through their sponsorship”, said championship owner Phil Cooper.

“Legends Cars provide the ultimate race action year-on-year, it’s tailor-made for a TV audience and so we are looking forward to providing the fans around the UK and across the globe the chance to watch our 45-race season on TV and online. It’s wonderful news we’re partnering with Barry Welch at Digitex Television once again and, it goes without saying, the one and only Richard John Neil!”
