Britain’s very best big-grid racing, the Legends Cars National Championship with MRF Tyres, can today reveal the category’s biggest ever television package ahead of the 25th anniversary season through a key sponsorship deal with 24hr Solutions.
Full coverage of all 14 rounds, a total of 42 races this year, will be broadcast in the UK, Europe and America through a variety of platforms including Amazon Prime UK and USA, digital satellite and Freesat channel Front Runner, and the BARC TV and Motorsport TV channels online.
Sponsorship of the coming season’s broadcast coverage will come from 24hr Solutions, the multi-facility service business which is run by Legends Cars National Championship racer Phil Turner, who made his competitive track debut last year in his ‘Help for Heroes’ branded Team 247 entry.
Fittingly, in the season Legends Cars celebrate the landmark quarter of a century celebration in the UK, the championship is offering the widest ever exposure for drivers, teams and also commercial partners – providing tremendous return on investment for the latter.
Once again in 2019, Digitex Television – headed by Barry Welch – will produce all of the content while the highly respected and knowledgeable Richard John Neil, who has been an integral part of the Legends ‘family’ throughout the past 25 years, will again provide his ever-popular commentary.
“We are absolutely elated to have been able to put together such a fantastic package of television and online coverage for the Legends Cars this year, by far the most extensive offering we’ve ever been able to provide, thanks to the partnership with Phil Turner and 24hr Solutions”, said Legends Cars owner Phil Cooper, “We’re extremely grateful to 24hr Solutions for their outstanding support.
“Over the past 25 years we’ve enjoyed incredible backing from our competitors and teams and this TV deal takes things onto another level for us, with the largest ever exposure for the championship through Amazon Prime, Front Runner, Motorsport TV and BARC TV. Importantly, achieving coverage in Europe and the USA, as well as the UK, is another huge benefit for drivers, teams and sponsors.”
Cooper added: “Of course, we’re all very much looking forward to working with Barry Welch and his team at Digitex who have done a terrific job for us in recent seasons and, it goes without saying, we’re delighted Richard John Neil will be taking care of commentary duties – what he doesn’t know about Legends isn’t worth knowing!”
Highly successful broadcast sponsor 24hr Solutions was incorporated in 2012 and has since gone on to realise the vision of company founder Phil Turner – to create the ultimate engineering company, an industry leader in service, safety and innovation.
Internationally recognised throughout the market, 24hr Solutions has engineering divisions which range from transport, vehicle repairs and recovery through to building maintenance of commercial and domestic premises. With a global reach, 24hr Solutions looks after around 6,500 properties in the UK and also has on-going projects in Europe and the USA.
Speaking on the Legends Cars TV deal, 24hr Solutions’ Phil Turner said: “As a business owner you always aspire to provide the best service, the best branding, to be the best at all endeavours, so when the opportunity to sponsor such a great TV motor racing deal with Legends presented itself, it was one to snatch quickly!
“Working with Phil Cooper is always a pleasure, we entered Team 247 last year in support of Help for Heroes, with great support from Phil, and this new sponsorship deal just highlights the family atmosphere of the pitlane in the Legends Cars National Championship.”
