Organisers of the Legends Cars Championship and Legends Cars Elite Cup are thrilled to today, Thursday, 25th September, reveal the provisional 2026 calendar – widely regarded as perhaps the best ever schedule in the pocket rockets’ three decade-plus history of action in the UK.

No sooner has the sensational 2025 season concluded this past weekend at Snetterton 300 Circuit, championship officials are proud to confirm the 2026 calendar at the earliest possible opportunity in order for drivers and teams to begin planning next year’s racing.

Competing at all of the premier tracks in the country next season, and with a mouth-watering Donington Park date alongside the British Touring Car Championship in April the highlight, the Legends Cars will also race on the full Grand Prix track at Brands Hatch once again and conclude the campaign back at Donington on the Leicestershire venue’s GP configuration.

Of the seven race weekends which are scheduled for 2026, six will be double-headers with only a trip to Oulton Park International Circuit next August – where the Legends will again be part of the picturesque Cheshire track’s US Autoshow event – running as a one-day meeting.

The new campaign will begin over the weekend 4th/5th April at Silverstone National Circuit in Northamptonshire before the first trip of the year to Donington Park a fortnight later, on 18th/19th April, as part of the BTCC support package – the first two rounds of the Elite Cup.

On 2nd/3rd May the second of the Elite Cup qualifying events, rounds five and six of the overall Championship, will take place at Brands Hatch GP Circuit in Kent and a month later the Legends Cars will return back to their spiritual home in West Kingsdown, this time on the Indy Circuit for the annual American Speedfest.

Following a seven week summer break, the competitors will reconvene for a visit to Norfolk and the USA Snetterton 300 event which will also mark the finale of the Elite Cup campaign. More Americana is in store at Oulton Park on Saturday, 22nd August, and the final two rounds of the 2026 season will be on Donington’s full GP Circuit over the weekend 26th/27th September.

Phil Cooper – Legends Cars Championship Owner:
“It’s great we’ve been able to announce the provisional calendar for next season so early, and especially with so many highlights. All five of the tracks we will visit during 2026 are the very best the UK has to offer, we’re confident this is probably the best calendar we have ever delivered for the Legends Cars drivers and teams, and the fans of course, in partnership with our friends at MSV.

“Silverstone National is tailor-made for Legends Cars, short, sharp and very fast and it will mark an outstanding start to the new season. It was very important for us to be able to join up with the BTCC again and so we’re delighted the first rounds of the Elite Cup will be with the touring cars next April at Donington – especially with the live TV and incredible exposure that brings.

“There are so many other highlights as well, not least returning to Brands Hatch GP Circuit which proved very popular this year. Add in Snetterton and Oulton Park and we really are in for a superb season of Legends Cars action next year. It’s just a shame we have to wait so long over the autumn and winter now!”
